Historic Greystone and Aquatic Center and Bath House
Silverman CPM has assisted the Piedmont Park Conservancy on several park improvement projects over the years, including representation of the Conservancy on the adaptive use of Piedmont Park’s historic bathhouse. This project included the restoration of the 9,000 sq. ft. bathhouse, known today as Greystone, and the addition of a new 7,500 sq.ft. public aquatic center. The iconic Greystone Facility was the last of the Park’s historic buildings to be renovated. Piedmont Park’s Greystone and Family Aquatic Center opened successfully on May 23, 2009. This project received a LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council.
Silverman CPM was responsible for maintaining and monitoring the project budget, administering contracts, coordination of multiple consultants, leading value engineering process, monitoring project performance, and ensuring Owner’s program was accomplished with the established level of construction and quality.
