Courthouse Renovations

The DeKalb County Courthouse project involved the complete renovation of an eleven story, 225,400 sq.ft. occupied building in downtown Decatur. The project included asbestos abatement, complete building systems upgrades to meet current building code requirements, total floor plan modifications, and logistics associated with multiple moves of County court room offices and installation of new furniture. Silverman CPM was engaged as the Owner’s Representative and Project Manager by DeKalb County for this three phase renovation project in order to ensure the project was closely monitored throughout design and construction.
