This project consisted of 10,000 s.f. museum and outdoor pavilion located on the approximately 120-acre site along the Chattahoochee River. The Discovery Center included a two-story exhibit hall, theater and classroom; a lobby space and support office space. The rooftop terrace was designed to provide views of the Chattahoochee River.
Also included in this project was the Outdoor Discovery Pavilion to be utilized for educational programs and other special events. The pavilion consists of 3,560 s.f. of covered area and a 2,000 s.f. deck. Restrooms and a catering kitchen are also included in this space.
