The Atlanta Botanical Expansion Project is a large, multiple- structure, garden and greenspace expansion project located on Piedmont Avenue. This project includes a new 2-story Visitor Center Building (9,257 sf); a six-level parking deck facility (252,000 sf with over 750 spaces), an elevated tree-top walkway (Canopy Walk) which is over 600-feet long and 40-feet high, a multi-tier cascading water pool and fountain with arbor and restroom facility (Cascades Garden); the greenspace expansion Edible Garden project with outdoor demonstration kitchen and herb and vegetable planting areas; and the Storza Woods reforestation project located underneath the Canopy Walk. The Visitor Center and Parking Facility project received a LEED® Gold certification from the USGBC.

Silverman CPM has represented the Atlanta Botanical Garden throughout these projects. The firm was responsible for organizing the project team, managing the process of planning, scheduling and controlling all construction tasks and activities. The firm managed the master project budget from the early stages of the project, maintaining and reconciling all costs related to the project. Today, Silverman CPM continues to work with Atlanta Botanical Garden on various renovation projects within the Garden.
